What is the minimum/maximum length of stay?

Our apartments are available for stays ranging from 7 nights to 6 months.

How many and what sorts of apartments are available?

Our 22 apartments are situated at 4 different locations in the city centre of The Hague. They range in size from 30m2 to 105m2 and are available in the following categories:

Studio apartment, 7 studios’ in 3 different locations
One-bedroom apartment, 8 one-bedroom apartments in 3 different locations
Two-bedroom apartment, 7 two-bedroom apartments in 2 different locations

How much is the tourist tax and am I obliged to pay it?

The tourist tax is €5,35 per person per night.
Residents of the city of The Hague are exempt from this tax.
The amount of the tourist tax can be adjusted every year by the municipality.
No tourist tax is charged for people who are younger than 13 years.

What are the occupancy regulations in the apartments?

Deluxe and Superior: maximum 2 adults
Executive and Executive Duplex: maximum 4 adults

What is included in the price?

The price includes: 9% VAT, Wi-Fi, gas, water, electricity, TV, a welcome pack and a biweekly mandatory cleaning (if you stay longer than a month).

 

Not included: Final cleaning and city tax.

CANCELLATIONS

What is the cancellation policy?

Reservations can be cancelled without charge up to 14 days before the arrival date. When cancelled less than 14 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total reservation will be charged. When cancelled less than 2 days before arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the total reservation will be charged.

 

Reservations cannot be refunded during certain periods. This means that the credit card will be charged the same day as the reservation and no refund will be given in case of cancellation.

How can I cancel?

All cancellations must be made by e-mail, and will only be valid when confirmed by us.

 

348 Suites B.V. reserves the right to charge the cancellation fee to the credit card provided at the time of the reservation.

CHECK-IN

What time can I check in?

Earliest check-in time is 3:00 pm. The exact time should be determined by mutual agreement between you and our staff.
For early or late check-in or any special requests, please contact us by email at: stay@348suites.com.

What is the check-in procedure?

On the day of arrival, an employee of 348 Suites B.V. will meet you at the location. A specific time for the meeting has to be agreed in advance, but normally the apartments will be available from 3:00 pm. The employee will hand over the key and do the check-in.

What should I bring?

Upon arrival, all guests MUST provide valid identification in the form of a passport (or National Identification Card). Unfortunately, we cannot accept a driver’s license for this purpose.

YOUR STAY

What is included in the inventory?

May I make alterations to my apartment?

It is strictly forbidden to drill holes or otherwise modify walls and other elements of the structure, fixtures or furnishings on the premises.

What if something breaks?

Should something break, please call 348 Suites. We will see to it that someone from our technical service comes as quickly as possible to address the problem.

Is Internet and television supplied?

Each apartment has its own Internet and tv connection.

Am I responsible for cleaning?

We at 348 Suites assume that residents will take care of the daily cleaning themselves. The sanitary and kitchen will be cleaned professionally every two weeks on a mutually agreed time (only if you stay longer than a month). If you want multiple facilities within your apartment to be cleaned, let us know in time.

A final cleaning will take place when you leave the property to ensure that we can welcome the next guest in a newly cleaned apartment.

How many keys will I receive?

Each guest receives 1 key, which operates both the main door and the door to the apartment itself.

Lost your key? Let us know immediately so that we can deactivate it. We will replace it as quickly as possible. A fee of €50 will be charged.

Need extra keys? We can arrange this on request.

What if there is an emergency?

Is there a lift?

There is no lift in the building at Nieuwstraat and Buitenhof. There is a lift at the location Dagelijkse Groenmarkt; with the exception of the Executive Duplex apartments, all units are on one level.

Unfortunately, the apartments are not suitable for those requiring the use of a wheelchair or mobility scooter.

Where can I dispose of rubbish?

Dagelijke Groenmarkt:
There is a rubbish container facility in the storage area on the ground floor.

 

Nieuwstraat:
Make sure to put out your garbage bag at the latest by 7.45 hrs. on the collection day (every Tuesday). You may put out your household waste as of 22.00 hrs. the evening before the collection day. However, it is preferable that you put it out on the day itself. This way you help to combat filth and nuisance from animals. Place the household waste as close as possible to the street.

 

Buitenhof:
Bring your rubbish to the container at the corner of the building.
Each guest receives 1 key for the container.

Can I extend my stay?

If you need to stay for a longer or shorter period than orginally booked, please contact us.

What time is check-out?

Latest check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Unless agreed otherwise, an employee of 348 Suites B.V. will not meet you at the apartment to do the check out. You can just leave the keys on the table in the apartment.

Can I receive post during my stay?

Of course. Each apartment has its own mailbox, the key of which you will receive at the time of check-in. If you lose a key, please let us know immediately.

Are there parking facilities for my car or bicycle?

There are several parking garages within walking distance (ask for rates). Bikes at the Dagelijkse Groenmarkt can be parked for free in the storage room on the ground floor. The other locations (Nieuwstraat and Buitenhof) does not have a storage room.

PAYMENT

What forms of payment are accepted?

You can pay by credit card (Visa and Mastercard) when booking via our website. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer, just let us know.

Is payment of a security deposit required?

Regardless of the length of your stay, we initiate a charge to your credit card for a deposit equal to a full month’s rent. Provided all is in order at the time of check-out, the charge to your credit card will be invalidated. In the event that payment has been made by bank transfer, this will be refunded as soon as possible to the account from which it was received.

Are there any extra service costs?

Everything is included in the price of the apartment, including the biweekly cleaning (only if you stay longer than a month), with the exception of the tourist tax and the final cleaning costs.

Do I need to pay the full amount in advance?

Depending on the length of your stay, it is possible to pay in instalments. Contact us for details.

What is the minimum/maximum length of stay?

Our apartments are available for a stay of minimum 1 month and maximum 2 years.

How many and what sorts of apartments are available?

Our 23 apartments are situated at 4 different locations in the city centre of The Hague. They range in size from 30m2 to 105m2 and are available in the following categories:

Studio apartment, 8 studios’ in 3 different locations

One-bedroom apartment, 8 one-bedroom apartments in 3 different locations

Two-bedroom apartment, 7 two-bedroom apartments in 2 different locations

How much is the tourist tax and am I obliged to pay it?

The tourist tax is €4,60 per person per night till July 2020.
From July 2020 the tourist tax is €5,35 per person per night.
Residents of the city of The Hague are exempt from this tax.
No tourist tax is charged for people who are younger than 13 years.

What are the occupancy regulations in the apartments?

Studio and one-bedroom apartment: maximum of 2 adults
Two-bedroom apartment: maximum of 4 adults

What is included in the price?

The monthly rent consists of 2 parts;
– apartment rent, payment for furniture/fittings and other equipment
– (advance) payment for additional supplies and services

At the end of the stay the costs for the mandatory final cleaning will be added.

CANCELLATIONS

What is the cancellation policy?

The period of notice is one month. You may give notice on any day of the month, except at weekends or public holidays. For example, if we receive your tenancy agreement cancellation on the 20th of the month, then the last day of the tenancy agreement will, at the earliest, be the 20th of the following month.

CHECK-IN

What is the check-in procedure?

On the day of arrival, an employee of 348 Suites B.V. will meet you at the apartment location. A specific time for the meeting has to be agreed in advance. Our employee will hand over the key and do the check-in.
Before the start of the rental agreement 348 Suites B.V. will draw up an inspection report for the apartment. This report will be shared with you on the day of check-in. At the end of your lease a new inspection report will be drawn up with the current state at that time.
